How long has she been working with the Facetron? Is this a machine she would recommend for a beginner?

she just got it not too long ago....it is an older model though....she has arthritis pretty bad and she doesnt seem to have a problem with it at all, with that said, I'd say go for it..Here is her machine........ Attachments:

I love this machine!! I would highly recommend a Facetron machine. It cost a lot more, but is a precision machine that makes pretty precise cuts, and little room for error (that said, you can make a lot of error in facetting, but this machine really helps keep you on track).

Does the Facetron have a micro dial gauge? or Digital 'read out'? or maybe these are added extras for the more advanced?

From the picture of the Facetron I can't see how you cut the girdle at 90 degrees, it looks like the splash bowl would be in the way?!?
